The Best Music Videos of 2003

31.12.2003

A selection of some of my favourite music videos from 2003. Not that many this year around.

Röyksopp: Remind me. Directed by Ludovic Houplan & Hervé de Crécy. Awesome video. Nice song as well.

Lacquer: Behind. Directed by Olivier and Michel Gondry. A seven-day journey by car from LA to New York, shot at one frame per second with a camera in the back of the car compressed into 4 minutes.

Cassius: Sound of Violence. Directed by Alexandre Courtès. An animated rollercoaster ride.

Telepopmusik: Love can damage your health. Director: Jordan Scott. Stylish video with nice dancing (and a nice girl with a nice body, to be frank).

DJ Format: You know something we don't know. Directed by Ruben Fleischer. One of my favourite b-boy videos of all time.

Red Hot Chili Peppers: Can't Stop. A fun video by director Mark Romanek.

And bubbling under: Robbie Williams: Come Undone directed by Jonas Akerlund. Kenna: Free time. All you see are shoes and legs, but what you SEE is a lot more. Not exactly a 'fun' video, but good. As a matter of fact I would have thought it better without the happy ending, but it's a music video, so.
