Excerpt from a 1977 film called Gizmo, which is essentially a compilation of newsreels from the 1920s to 1950s. The full film is online as well. Expect dogs on threadmills, men tearing telephone books, the invention of the motor helmet and countless pointless inventions that I don't have time to watch.

As to vintage parkour there is of course also Buster Keaton, the greatest physical comedian of all time.
