A Portrait of Ian McEwan

This month's issue of The New Yorker includes an interesting portrait of Ian McEwan. If you haven't read any of his work I can recommend Saturday. Atonement is also quite good, although it consists of two halves. The first half is "slow" and then in the second half it suddenly gains pace. It is then that the first half falls into place.
