The Artist (dir. Michel Hazanavicius). A silent movie in black and white, but the editing, the pace, the cinematography and so on are all contemporary. Perfect proof of my thesis that there is tremendous artistic potential in exploring and reinvigorating vintage styles and movements in the arts.
