This list is becoming less and less meaningful every year since I no longer see as much as I used to. Even so music videos remain an interesting medium for creative expression so here goes, a list of some of the videos that caught my eye. In no particular order:



Is Tropical: The Greeks. Directed by Megaforce. The band name is indeed Is Tropical.





Fleet Foxes: The Shrine/An Argument. Directed by Sean Pecknold.





Kyary Pamyu Pamyu: Pon Pon Pon. This is, well, colourful.





Manchester Orchestra: Simple Math. Directed by Daniels, aka Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert.





Lykke Li: Sadness is a Blessing. Directed by Tarik Saleh.





Memory Tapes: Yes I Know. Directed by Eric Epstein.





Woodkid: Iron. Directed by Yoann Lemoine.





DyE: Fantasy. Directed by Jérémie Périn.





Battles: My Machine. Directed by Daniels, aka Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert.





Chase & Status: Hitz. Directed by ?. Great cinematography and editing.





Tyler, The Creator: Yonkers. Directed By Wolf Haley.





Hudson: Against the Grain. Directed by VJ Dropbear (aka Jonathan Chong).





Modeselektor feat. Thom Yorke: Shipwreck. Directed by: Tony "Truand" Datis.





Holy Ghost!: Wait & See. Directed by Ben Fries. Nice tune and the video goes well with the song.
