Another photo of hotel Agon am Alexanderplatz. It is situated in a former East-German apartment block. Red carpets and Granny Smith green doors, although I don't know whether these are the original colours. Rooms are huge and seem even bigger because there's not much furniture. It is very reasonably priced. I can recommend it if you're looking for a three star budget hotel. It's only slightly off the centre and there's a tram stop in front. It's also close to the Rosa Luxemburgplatz, home of the Volksbuehne.
