Building: Cinema House

Comments: This building was designed to commemorate the work of Portuguese film maker Manuel de Oliveira. The two windows recall a double lens camera and also direct the view towards the Atlantic Ocean and along two apartment blocks in front of the house. When I was there the building looked a bit deserted. There were graffiti on the wall and the garden was unkept, so I don't know whether it still serves its original function or is standing empty. It may also have been closed over summer of course.
