Comments: This photo sort of sums up all my inner conflicts as a photographer when I was in India. When you're out on the streets you're constantly approached by people who see you as a walking ATM. I feel empathy, but I cannot feed the entire world. Occasionally I gave someone some rupees, but when you do, from all directions children come running at you, begging for alms. Sometimes I feel hesitant about taking a photo, but I don't want to miss out on a good photo or look away altogether either. I hesitate about including this photo here as well and about writing these few lines. But that's precisely why I include it, as the first photo. As always I've totally immersed myself into the street life. As I hope my photos will attest I had a great time in Delhi and have met some wonderful people. There are (many) other sides to Delhi (and India) which I didn't capture during this visit. I hope to go back soon.
