The building was designed for Forum 2004 and when I was there fall 2005 it appeared to be rather empty. The whole site seemed rather desolate. I think it received mixed reviews upon completion, but I found it quite a fascinating building. Like so many designs by Herzog & de Meuron it has a spectacular skin. The openings afford interesting photo opportunities. I also like the building's footprint.
