Comments: I had booked an excursion to Mai Chau, but the drive to Mai Chau was far more interesting than Mai Chau itself. The village where the guided tours drop you off is very touristic. So I asked the driver to turn back and just stop at my signal. This didn't really work as I had hoped, because in Vietnam drivers are used to getting you to your destination as fast as possible, alive or dead. Still we did make some stops.
