Comments: Everyone has a story to tell. This is mine. On my first visit to New York in 1999 I got a terrible cold. I must have caught it on the plane. I didn't let it deter me from my plans. At the entrance of the escalators which led to the elevators for the observation deck you could have your photo taken in front of a cardboard model of the Twin Towers. Because of my cold I didn't feel like having my photo taken so I just walked on. Later I regretted this. I'm always the one taking the photos so there are hardly any photos of me. I knew that my mother would have liked to have this photo so I decided that on a next visit to New York I'd go back. I've got another story. A friend of mine worked in the resident artist studio on the 95th floor. A few weeks before the attacks his residency ended. But I guess another person's started. I'm still filled with emptiness whenever I think of the attacks.
