Comments: The imperial hall of the Topkapi Palace where the sultan used to entertain his friends. It's interesting to compare the splendor of the Topkapi Palace with that of other palaces and to compare its expression of wealth with that of Indian, French and Chinese rulers and Genovese and Dutch merchants.
