# Alex and Saskia at Het HEM (2)

Het HEM is a spectacular new exhibition space in a former munition factory near Amsterdam, which opened in June 2019\. The cast brass plates are a permanent installation by [RAAAF](https://www.raaaf.nl/?ref=ivarhagendoorn.com). Dancers: Alex Negron and Saskia de Vries.

This was the second photo shoot. The [first shoot](https://www.ivarhagendoorn.com/photos/alex-and-saskia-at-het-hem-1/) was a try-out. We liked the location so much that we went back a second time.

**Update**: Het HEM permanently closed in 2024\. We got there shortly after it opened. The trip from Amsterdam Central Station by ferry was actually quite nice, but it was already clear to us that most people would be reluctant to make the journey, especially during bad weather. And then of course in 2020 the COVID 19 pandemic hit.
