Thommanon is one of a pair of Hindu temples built during the reign of Suryavarman II (from 1113–1150), that is at the same time as Angkor Wat. Thommanon is a single-towered temple with an east-facing central sanctuary, crowned by a prasat, or tower. The temple's carvings of *devatas*, female divine figurines, are in excellent condition. Most visitors to Angkor appear to skip Thommanon, since I had the complex almost to myself.
