With hindsight it is quite astonishing and perhaps even somewhat disconcerting that the fall 2020 ready-to-wear runway shows took place at all. At the time of the Milan fashion shows the coronavirus was already spreading across Northern Italy. Nevertheless the fashion circus descended onto Milan and then travelled on to Paris. Noir Kei Ninomiya presented yet another amazing collection. I'm a big fan of Junya Watanabe and his FW collection didn't disappoint. The collections by Matty Bovan and Undercover draw on the same deconstructionist aesthetic, which I happen to like, even after all those years.
