When I was about 6 years old my parents gave me a large and heavy book, Natural Wonders of the World, which featured a photo of Delicate Arch on the cover. I was moved and excited when I finally had a chance to visit Arches National Park and take a photo of Delicate Arch myself. I had a bit of bad luck with the weather. In between the rain showers I managed to visit some arches and take a few photos.

Arches National Park is famous for (and named after) the arches that are found throughout the park. However, there are many other interesting rock formations in the park as well. I'd love to visit the park again some time.

Another photo of Delicate Arch. It was quite crowded with lots of people wanting to have their photo taken while standing, sitting or lying underneath the arch, so taking this picture required patience.
