The Bletterbachschlucht is a beautiful gorge shaped by the Bletterbach in the Dolomites, near Bolzano. The Bletterbach gorge is known for its fossil plants, fossil shells and fossil animal tracks. In 2009, the Bletterbach gorge and the Dolomites were included into the UNESCO Natural Heritage List. After two days of rain in Madonna di Campiglio I enjoyed a sunny afternoon in the Bletterbachschlucht.
