Falljökull

The Falljökull is an easily accessible outlet glacier of the Vatnajökull in Skaftafell National Park. To spread the risk I'd booked two full-day glacier hikes in Skaftafell National Park, one at the beginning of my first week in Iceland and one at the end of my second week. Unfortunately, the weather was drowsy and rainy on both days. It did make for moody photos though.

If you like these photos be sure to check out the photos I took at Jokulsarlon, Leirhnjúkur, Reynisfjara, Hljóðaklettar, the Námafjall geothermal area, the Seltún-Krýsuvík geothermal area and around the ring road.

More glaciers! Aletschgletscher, Gornergletscher, Svellnossbreen, Nigardsbreen, Glacier du Tour and the Glacier Trail Felskinn Mattmark.
