On a perfect summer day I did a guided hike across the stunning Svellnosbreen in Jotunheimen National Park. I didn't know what to expect and it exceeded any expectations I might have had. It went straight into the top 10 of things I've done in my life so far. It marked the beginning of my fascination with glaciers.

Goodbye Svellnosbreen. I wonder what will be left if I ever have a chance to visit again.
