At 218 meters tall Feigefossen is one of Norway's highest unregulated waterfalls. It is situated on the southern side of the Lusterfjord. To get there you have to take the narrow road from Skjolden or the ferry from Solvorn to Urnes, or both if you want to make a round trip and don't want to return the same way as you came. Both the morning and the evening reception at my hotel, the beautiful Tørvis Hotel in Marifjøra, recommended the hike to Feigefossen to me. The trail was muddy and slippery because of the rain, but I had a great time photographing the river at different stages and from different angles.
