My visit to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park was cut short by a flat tire. I was forced to skip Sequoia National Park entirely and only had an afternoon to explore Kings Canyon National Park. I visited Sequoia National Park in 2001 and had been hoping to go back now that I have a nice DSLR. Maybe another time.
