Los Angeles
The first time I visited Los Angeles I hated it. The second time I liked it. The third time I loved it. Los Angeles is difficult to crack. You really need a car to explore the city, which I didn't have on my first visit. There is no centre as in Paris or New York. It is more a collection of neighbourhoods. But if you take your time it is in fact an amazing city. I also found it far more inspiring than "beautiful" cities such as Florence or Venice, where everything is presented on a plate. I can't wait to go back.
