Naoshima

I had been looking forward to visiting Naoshima and Teshima. Unfortunately, when I was there most pavilions at Teshima were closed. On top of that photography was not allowed at the pavilions and museums to preserve the sanctity of the sites. While I find this understandable it is still a shame. Naoshima itself is quite nice as well though. It is interesting to get a taste of rural Japan. Unfortunately, it was overcast most of the day.

A glimpse of the "real" Japan in Naoshima

More Japan! The Tsukiji Fish Market before it closed for good, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and the amazing Koyasan or Mount Koya.
