Piz Boè is the highest mountain of the Sella Group in the Dolomites, Italy, with an elevation of 3,152 metres. The hike to the top of Piz Boè was one of my favourite hikes in the Dolomites. Of course, this was a perfect day. I was so absorbed by the scenery that I almost missed the last gondola down to the parking lot.

The trail offers spectacular views of Piz Boè and the surrounding mountains and valleys.

As always the views get better and better the higher you climb.

I didn't take the shortcut down.

The landscape around Piz Boè is awesome

I kept taking photographs and completely lost track of time.
