Sallandse Heuvelrug is a National Park in the Dutch province of Overijssel, near Nijverdal and Holten. Its highest point is 75 metres! The forests are quite recent, dating back to the early 20th century. The original forests had been razed in the Middle Ages. After retirement my parents moved to a town bordering the Sallandse Heuvelrug, which is why I've got quite a few photos from this area.
