Skaftafell National Park

I had arranged to spend two days in Skaftafell National Park: one for a full-day glacier hike on one of the nearby glaciers and one for a day hike. Unfortunately, the trail to Kristínartindar was closed. Since I always abide by park regulations even if it means missing out on some great photo opportunities I had to reschedule my plans for the day. But I'll be back.

The Skaftafellsjökull glacier is where the ice planet section of Interstellar was filmed.
