Zion National Park is one of my favourite national parks in the US. I love seeing all those geological formations. It is also one of the most visited national parks in the US. I've visited Zion National Park twice. In 2013 I spent three days hiking in Zion Canyon. I also hiked The Narrows, which, to this day, is among the best day hikes I've done. I would like to one day also visit the Kolob Canyons section of Zion National Park, which is in a different corner of the park and which receives far less visitors. And of course I'd love to go back one day to hike a section of "The Subway", if I can obtain a permit.
Zion National Park is a geological playground. I just love all those amazing patterns created by geological forces.
