Amman is a fascinating city of contrasts, a unique blend of old and new. The citadel offers amazing views of the dense urban landscape of Amman. Amman was built on seven hills, but the city now sprawls over 19 hills comprised of 27 districts. I'd only scheduled a day and a half to visit Amman, but wish I'd had an extra day.
