The trail from Morteratsch to the Chamanna da Boval hut is a relatively easy but wonderful hike. It offers amazing views of the Morteratsch Glacier, the Pers Glacier and the surrounding mountains. As you can tell from the photos I was lucky with the weather. The glaciers around St Moritz are at an elevation of around 3,000 meter and are therefore vulnerable to climate change. I wonder how much will remain ten years from now (= 2020).
