The hike to the Refuge Albert 1er and the Glacier du Tour was one of my favourite day hikes around Chamonix. Of course, the weather helped. I should add that there are many more day hikes in the area that I would love to do. The Glacier du Tour is rapidly receding. These photos were taken in 2015.
