Ta Som

Ta Som is a small but exquisite temple at Angkor, built at the end of the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII. It is located north east of Angkor Thom. Ta Som has been left largely unrestored. One gopura (entrance way) is completely overgrown by a strangler fig. Some towers feature the same serene faces as the Bayon.
