Autumn 2012 I made a short road trip through Tuscany and Umbria. I visited all the obvious places, the Val d'Orcia, Siena, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, one not so obvious place, the Carrara Marble Quarry and of course, the most obvious place, Florence.

I climbed one of the towers in San GimignanoA cheese shop in Pienza. Unfortunately, I couldn't take much home as I was travelling by plane.
