Wisshornweg

Due to landslides the direct trail to Trift is currently closed. A section of the Wisshorn trail now serves as the alternative route. The Wisshorn trail makes for a great hike in its own right.

Surenenpass

The hike from Engelberg via Surenenpass to Attinghausen is considered one of the most impressive of central Switzerland. I didn't make it all the way to Attinghausen, but returned via Stäuber and Stäfeli to the valley station Fürenalp.

Møysalen

On a glorious day in July I hiked to the top of Møysalen (1262m), the highest peak in Vesterålen. It is a magnificent hike and one of the best day hikes in Norway. Indeed, it is definitely in the top 10 of the best hikes I’ve done so far.

Vesterålen

Vesterålen has it all: amazing scenery, majestic mountains, deep fjords and beautiful beaches. There is one thing Vesterålen does not have: tour buses full of tourists.

Lofoten

Lofoten has long been a destination on my bucket list, and now that I've had the chance to visit, I can't stop thinking about returning someday. There's truly no place like it.

Matmora

The hike to Matmora (788m) is one of the best hikes in Lofoten. The views from the top are breathtaking.

Munkebu Hut Hike

The hike to the Munkebu Hut is one of the top hikes in Lofoten. Unfortunately I didn't have time to make a push for Hermannsdalstinden. Even so it was one of the highlights of my trip.
